Halo, Mass Effect or any other are on the disk

Unable to load any game will read the file on the disk after about 2
min. Will attempt to load game for about an hour before it states "n
respond" wait longer reload or end program will appear
Is the Gateway 5426e 32bit vista a problem or is the software to blame
Did load Gothic 3 but no other told one day to load (24 Hours to thos
of you that are French) Purchased new DVD with the same results I ca
not find an answer? would appreciate a cue
