Yes, it is possible but very slow. Devices such as PDAs use
USB and other devices can do that or use Ethernet or WiFi.
Windows XP has a networking wizard that will show you the
basics for direct cable connection using a serial cable and
the comm. ports. There are also USB hub cables.
Exactly what equipment you want to connect and how fast a
connection you need will determine what you should do.
