Hi, I can install updates with no problems but everytime an update occurs and
I need to reboot, it hangs on the windows logo screen with the moving green
bar. The bar moves but the pc just stops. Sometimes I can get in on safe mode
but 9 times out of 10, cannot even get in on that. The only way to really
overcome this is to repair using the xp disk or a complete reinstall but that
solves nothing because the updates come and the same problems exist. I'm
pulling my hair out and cannot find out any answers. Hope someone can help.
