What happened to the Select All?

What happened to the Select All option in the .new and improved Live
Messenger? This was such a great option, especially, when you had tons of
junk mail. Now, you have to check every one of the dumb things and then
click delete. Hopefully, I am missing something in the new UI, which leaves
much to be desired ove the old one.

Because it says it is Windows Live Messenger when I open it. When I log on
to the WLM a prompt comes up and tells me I have 71 messages. So, I go to
the messages and it opens what looks to be my hotmail account, and there are
the 71 messages in the Inbox list. That, I am assuming, is when it becomes
an email client. <g>

Greetings Jan,

I assume you mean Windows Live Mail. The Select All is still there, just click the checkbox
in the top column (right of shortcuts, left of Sort by X).

Thanks, Nigel. I will try it.

Yes...the WLM. I will try your suggestion, but, it is very confusing when
the name of a function is changed and there is nothing to explain the
change. Thank you for your help.

I can't seem to get this to work like the "Select all" function. If I
choose the 'full experience' UI then I can't seem to see the list by the
page. If I choose the classic UI then I can't find how to select all the
messages at once to delete all the rest of the ones I don't want at one
time. What setting or option am I missing?
