What happened to those security updates for XP?

MS cancelled last week's security updates because of problems, since then
all I've seen is the Malicious Software Removal Tool.
Are those updates going to be released soon or what?

Thanks. It was just that I read somewhere that a whole bunch of security
patches that were to be released were "sent back to the drawing board" so to
speak.
