Add/remove is not an accurate measurement of the disk space occupied by an
installed program.
There are many things that take up disk space, and many of them are not
readily visible to the user.
You will likely have a page file and hibernation file equal to the amount of
RAM you have installed on your computer.
You will likely have a recovery partition to bring your computer back to
"out of the box" condition.
You will have the system volume information folder that holds all of the
restore points that are created when you install each, and every, program.
This could be equal to 10-15 % of the initial hard drive capacity. The
bigger the drive the more space is allocated.
