Are you saying that you are using a Vista DVD and it doesn't see the drive
when you get to the install section? You would need drivers in this case.
If you see the drive, use advanced and delete whatever you have on the
drive, create the new partition and format it (only quick format is
available).
Don't use any prior products to create and format the partition you plan to
install Vista on as none of them has the proper NTFS format.
