No, you shouldn't need a new key. You might have to activate by
telephone depending on how long it's been since you last activated.
How you set up the new hard drive is up to you but you might want to
install your new harddrive as a master and the old one as a slave if
possible (if you're talking about a notebook you probably can't do
that) and then copy your system to the new drive. You can get software
that will copy your windows installation directly to the new harddrive,
both Maxtor and Western Digital supply the software with new harddrives
or you can download it for free from their websites. I'm not sure
about other manufacturers....
