Hi,

I understand that Vista is using "C:\Users" instead of "C:\Documents
and Setting". However, I have some word templates on the server that
run macro with hardcoded path "C:\Documents and
Setting\<<User>>\Application.." Are there ways to made the templates
work on computers that run on Vista? I can not change the path because
there are other users that run on Windows 2000 and XP.

Thanks in advance!

Well thats why the 'hard coded' junction points are there for, so that
legacy applications searching for and require them will work.

Sometimes creating a shortcut to the correct path works for me.

That would be sad for 2000/XP people running off of the D: drive, of course.
=\

It might be wiser, if possible, to use %userprofile%, which would equate to
that respective location flexibly.
