hi , my son uses my laptop to download music files ,video files and album
artwork .This can take up a lot of disc space and i was wondering if it is
possible to allocate a specific amount of storage space to his account if it
is ,it would force him to transfer these files to a backup disc and then
delete them instead of cluttering up my laptop with files that are finished
with any help appreciated thanks

Ultimate edition has Disk Quotas. I am not sure if the home versions have
it as well.

An alternative would be to make a small partition for your son's use and
transfer his User Shell Folders there.
