Hardrive Software

Hi all,

I am looking for a software that can create/split/merge, and do other
partition tasks. I have heard of Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0. Is it a
powerful software with a friendly interface? What are its main features and
uses? Also is it bootable like from a dvd?

Any reponse is greatly appreciated.

Disk Director is excellent. Yes, it will do all of that. Yes, after you
install it you can create a bootable CD. For more information about Disk
Director, go to its product page at www.acronis.com.

The point that some idiot like you is obviously too stupid to
understand isn't that Microsoft shouldn't include the tools necessary
to tweak it's file system to avoid some anti-trust action, but the
obvious fact they do include **** that doesn't work well if at all
forcing people to purchase overpriced third party solutions. That's
true for anti-virus, defragmenter and utilities to work on the file
system directly and also for backup, even the shell sucks.

The **** that comes included with Vista, and that's all it is... is
shamefully inferior and lacking necessary features. Naturally a loon
like you that worships Microsoft can never admit it. In fact you are
too stupid to even understand what I just said.

Too bad some diseased pile of **** named Frank who spends his days on

People whom know how to partition a HD can easily do so with free tools.

With the Vista Install DVD, it's easy to create partitions...and not too
hard to resize them.

That Microsoft may choose not to include an Eazy to Use, Let Me Wreck My
Data GUI is no surprise.

It's not MS's job to do it all...and if they did, people would still whine.

Just tried the demo.
It sucks.
The partition manager in Windows Disk Management is just as good.

I thought maybe it would make a good multi-OS boot manager...It Doesn't.

Just eye candy for already easy to perform task.

A free linux partition tool like gparted is just as good.
