Hardware Interrupt

hi all,
i have facing this problem since last 2 week. When i try to open or copy a movie files, the system is take long time to process and processor is running at a high percentage. I use the process explorer, i see that a "hardware interrupts" message under the system idle process. may i know any solution for this problem? thanks you
