Hardware update failed

I tried to download the update for the SATARaid Controller 3512 when it was
offered. After about 15 minutes of waiting (using a broadband connection), I
cancelled the download. It came back and said in the history that the attempt
had failed. Now, the offer for the update no longer displays and I still
would like to get it. I thought that I might be able to delete the compressed
file in the Windows (XP) directory, but it is not listed and no number is
displayed in the history page on the update site. Please help.

Don't install hardware drivers from Windows update - get updates from
the hardware makers support site. You are lucky it failed, especially
with MB drivers one wrong move there and you have a useless pile of
junk instead of a PC.
