Hardware update installation failure - Error Code: 0x800F020B

I have gotten successive failure notices on trying to install a printer
driver update, and I have also been unsuccessful at finding a reference
source for the error code which is provided. Can anyone assist me in either
locating the explanation of the error code or any assistance in correcting
the download/install failure?

Hi there,

It s common knowledge that a driver update is not needed if your device is
working fine.

If a driver is needed because the hardware is not functioning well, than
never take them from Win Update but go to the manufacturers website to
download the appropiate driver..

So just be happy it failed because most times drivers from win update are
giving problems.

Free advice: If it ain;'t broke: do not try to "FIX" it.
