Has anyone experienced this unusual problem?

I recently started experiencing a strange problem in Vista.
Whenever I click on a link for an ad in my browser (clickserve or
linksynergy for example) I get a blank page as a result.

This happens with both IE and Firefox so it's not the browser settings. My
hosts file looks fine as well. I disabled my firewall and antivirus
(kaspersky) and un-installed Spyware Blaster and still have the same
problem.

This is driving me crazy and I am stymied as to what to do.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I drink and it causes more problems than it solves.
