Where has the DOWNLOAD window gone when I downloading zip files?

Hello all,

Normally, when I clicked on a download link on a webpage, a window pops up
telling me the progress of the download by showing percentages. This
afternoon, when I clicked on the same download link, there's no window popped
up. I know it's downloading though because of the hour glass on the webpage
and the download icon on the bottom left corner of the webpage.

The download process stll occurs, it's just the download window appears at
the end of the download, rather at the beginning as it always has (and a much
better process). I also noticed that this ONLY occurs when I downloading ZIP
files.

I actually had this problem before when I used XP, and someone (in this
forum, do a saerch on my name) suggested this solution,

and it worked!!!

Since I switched to Vista, I didn't get this problem anymore....until this
afternoon! I had no idea what I did...there was no Windows upgrade or upgrade
of any software for that matter, the download Windows just suddenly
disappeared. Only this time the fix that I applied in XP can't use in Vista.
Bummer!

Any idea???
