hate messenger 2009 :'(

I just like to say how disappointed I am about the foced upgrade from
windows live messenger 8. to messenger 9, in my opinion messenger 8 was soo
perfect and simple just the way I like it but version 9 is just an annoying
messy thing (in my opinion) and I do hope that they soon bring out a new
version thats very similiar to or even better exactly the same as messenger 8
for those version 8.0 lovers out there . >.< messenger 9 sucks! :'(

I agree and Live Mail 2009 is even worse!!!

I prefer having messenger 8. That was perfect. I did not apperciate the
forced upgrade.

But I can adapt.


I would like to complain about the new schemes though. It's stupid to see
the other person's scheme in a conversation box. I much rather see my own
scheme then theirs. Please change this immeidently. It's annoying as hell.
And get rid of the colors around the display picture, they clash with my
icon.

Well the thing about Messenger is that the next version will be different from 2009, one way
or another.

So you don't have to put up with it for too long I expect

Which version of 8 (8.1/8.5) were you using and which Windows version? There are
possibilities of using older versions in some cases.

Ugh, I have to agree. I can't and won't use the new messenger. I love my
Windows Messenger 8, and I wanted to throw my computer when I saw what the
new one looked like way back when, so then I immediately reverted back to the
8s.

At one point it made me do a forced update and I worked hard to try to
figure out how to avoid it, and I ended up slightly updating my Windows Live
Messenger 8 to 8.5.1302.1018 and it seemed to do the trick, my computer
assumed I updated and let me back on. However it's doing it again and I don't
know what to do with it now, I'd almost rather not use Messenger at all
instead of having to use the updated one.

There needs to be a part of the new version that you can make it look like
the old one, in the name of all things good and decent in the world.

Yeah I was wrong, it looks like they were in the process of forcing the upgrade yesterday and
today it was fully implemented.
