i have big problems with sp2

I have xp proffessional. And have dowloaded and installed sp2 sucsessfully.
But now notting works my firewall i shuting off and windows update does not
work. when windows update try search for new updates it fails at 33% and this
nuber apears 0x80070424, i need help.
