Ok I am usually pretty computer savvy but I can't figure this one out. I set
up my daughter's computer and she was the administrator. I wanted to set
parental controls so I added my as the administrator and switched her to
standard user. When I got back on the computer it shows us both as standard
users and no one as an admin. I want to fix the parental controls but it says
windows needs permission to enter password and hit ok, but it wont let me
enter a password and now I can't change or do anything because no matter what
I do I get this pop up. I am so confused and am gettting no where. You have
to have an admin account but both of ours says standar user. Help please!

Hi Tanya,

See if you can boot into Safe Mode and change one of your accounts back
to an Administrator account, or create a new one.

Tanya,

If will not let you start up into Safe Mode using one of the methods in
the tutorial quoted above, then you might try doing a Repair install to
see if can create a new Administrator account for you.
