Have No Alerts For When I Have E-Mail....

Hi Everyone...
I have Windows Live Hotmail & Windows Messenger, when I am doing work on the
computer I used to have an alert that would tell me if I received a e-mail
from my hotmail account, but now I do not receive these alerts I have to keep
checking my hotmail account to see if I got mail (Pain in the Bum) I have
checked ALL boxes off but they still don't work. The only alert I have is
when some one is online. Please help me.

You might be using the BETA version of Windows Live Messenger 2009. Update to
the final version, avaliable at download.live.com.
If the problem persists, then reply here.
