Everytime Live messenger comes up, it says I have one invitation. I click on
it, and when it opens the page, it shows no invitations. WhenI had some, I
clicked on the ignore, on the spam ones thinking that would stop it.
I can't seem to get rid of the notification?
Bruce

Greetings Bruce,

It's a bug with Messenger (specially on the server side). Should go away on its own
sometime.

Hello Jonathan,

I have read about this solution on several websites, but unfortunately this
is not the solution for me. I have this problem now for several months and
the notification apears every time when i start Live Messenger. Sometimes
there is indeed one notification but after clicking on ignore in the Live
spaces website the next start of Live Messenger shows again that i have an
invitation (but there is no open invitation). Is there another solution?
(maybe some registry key?)

Regards, Jean-Pierre.
