Prior to doing anything, try this:
1. Open folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Windows
Genuine Advantage\data
2. Rename data.dat
3. Go to Microsoft web-site and validate your system, this will recreate
the database.
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.mspx
4. Also, I would download the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation tool
(MGADiag.exe):
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
Sometimes the datanse gets corrupted. I've had to do this on multiple
systems and it fixed it.
Run the MGADiag.exe after re-validating and see what it reports for your
system.
If it validates it, then you can send the output to MS.
