I have a problem...

I installed vista ultimate on my laptop. I have had no problems wit
anything but my media player. About half of the time it locks up and
have to totally shut down to do anything. I am still pretty new t
computer knowledge and I didnt know if there was a simple fix or what
Could someone help? Right now I am running WMP 11

Try running Windows Update.

Also, the problem may not be WMP 11 itself, but rather the media codec
being used. You may also want to download and install updated codecs for
your system.

And just for reference, the title of your posts should be indicative of
the problem. For example "Windows Media Player 11 freezes" will work
alot better than "I have a problem". Giving a descriptive title to your
post will help you to get a reply sooner, as generic post titles are
more often than not simply ignored.

Have you tried as I suggested, and checked for Windows Updates or fo
new codecs
