Hello all, I've searched around but I haven't been able to find a
answer to this problem anywhere and hope yall can't help.

I got a new laptop a few months ago with Windows Vista Home Premium.
Shortly after getting the computer I noticed that I had to shut it dow
twice in order to shut it down and get it to stay shut down.

I select the shut down option from the shut down menu and it wil
either hibernate the computer or restart the computer. I've trie
setting the power options, I've changed the power button to shut dow
the computer, I've updated my BIOS, I've installed all the window
updates, I've updated my graphics card, and I uninstalled the McAfe
that came with the laptop but haven't had any luck with this.

I don't know when my last good configuration was so I'm not sure what
would do with that. Also, if I used last known good configuration
would that get rid of all the files on my computer that came after tha
point?

Thanks for any help!

Here are my laptops specs:
Dell XPS M1350
4GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm, for XPS M1530
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive for XPS M1530
Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card

Please let me know if you need other information
