having a problem with making a video call

I`m having a problem with windows live messenger (making a video call)
when I try to make a video call my webcam image shows up on my scree
but the other persons webcam imag
doesn't appear on my screen? all I get is a pic of a webcam with a re
cross through it, I can hear them and they can hear me, they have th
same problem where my webcam image should be all they get is a pic of
webcam with the red cross through it
If we start viewing webcams it works fine though no sound but w
both can see each other? We are both running wlm 200
Please can you help
