having trouble

im having trouble dowloading and installing the updates for microsoft...i
have checked client for microsoft networks, i have made sure htere is nothing
blocking www downloads and have ckecked internet options ......what do i do
now????

Have you tried selecting Windows Update from the Tools drop down list using
Internet Explorer?
