When playing back recorded hdtv the video stutters and jerks. The problem
also occurs to a lesser extent with DVD playback. I have Vista Home Premium
32 bit installed on a HP computer w/ a AMD dual core 5200+ processor, 4 gigs
of RAM and a nVidia 7950GT card. It is connected to a 1080p HDTV I have
installed the latest drivers, replaced the card ( it tested bad, but the new
one has the same symptoms) changed the cable and input on the TV and
installed and uninstalled both the vista and k-lite codec packs with no
change. I also recorded Tv to my external firewire hard drive to rule that
out. The system worked flawlessly for the first several months I had it, but
I did not record any Tv over the summer so I don't know exactly when between
May and Sept it went bad so I can't restore to an early enough point to help
either. Thanks
