Does it ever feel ever so darn good to write something positive on MSFT that
software company in Redmond, Washington--ay Colin B.?

Forgive a rare cross post but I was enthusiastic enough to want to share
this with some of the people who may have blogs, etc. who help out over on
Win Mail group and on the Vista setup group.

I would like for you all to give a look to this new handy app I stumbled
onto from the Windows Live team that I'm trying out. Essentially this
useful little app from the Windows Live team (one of may in the future I
hope since Mr. Ballmer has allocated considerable money to it and MSFT has
hired one of the world's foremost search experts Dr. Gary Flake to help with
MSN and MSFT Research and now has one of the world's foremost data mining
experts who helped invent it).

I don't think that it would be possible but it may be probable.
Sorry for the shouting but it felt good. I lost my voice and can only talk
with a whisper.Very frustrating when you work as a technical consultant in
dealer support and can't talk. Maybe I'll just blame the outburst as being
caused by chemo-therapy side effects.

It's like this.

I would agree that the little political diatribes I occassionally share
could be considered spam but I put them at the end. Some people put cute
little aphorisms.

But I have to disagree here. All of the people who help here have a very
good grip on most of what MSFT does. They have done it for a while. They
have their resources down.

But it's a big company with a lot of sites. And sometimes someone will run
into something that may not be purely "Vista" but it will help you do
somethingyou do frequently or, it will help you use a computer, Vista, the
web or something related to Vista better. Or it will help people who have
this level of interest (which aren't all the people you see on the street or
at work) use their computers a little more comfortably or better.

So I wouldn't reduce a pretty well linked into to a new app from MSFT as
"spam."

Let me help you with Spam Kevin.

Spam is when you already have the maximum number of Viagra type meds
introduced to you and you're still getting them in your bulk mail. Spam is
when you're getting tons of ads in your bulk mail you don't care about.

I would say to get through the day Kevin, just ignore the heads up on the
Writer. Also, I'm not selling Windows Live writer for commercial game here.
It helps me on blogs because I don't have familiarity with Dream Weaver,
Front Page, or making web pages via notepad, frames, etc.

A lot of people are making some simple blog sites or MSN spaces, so I
pitched it.

I would suggest, Kevin, that you spend your time on the higher grade Spam
like all the extender devises in your mail box (not talking about the
Firefox extenders). Go with the spam you need.
