Hebrew lunar calendar calendar problem

Greetings,
A client of mine is using Outlook 2003 on his workstation and synchronising
using Activesync version 4.2.0 with Windows Mobile version 5.0 to a Pocket
PC.
The calendar events are synchronising perfectly for most events.

However, whenever he he creates an annual recurrence in Outlook and selects
the 'Hebrew lunar calendar' option, the event displays correctly on the
desktop calendar but fails to appear on the Pocket PC calendar after
synchronisation.

If he changes the setting for recurrence of this annual event to 'Gregorian
calendar', the event re-appears correctly on the Pocket PC following
synchronisation. Changing the setting again to the 'Hebrew' calendar causes
it to disappear from the Pocket PC on re-synchronisation.

I hope there is some easy solution to this strange problem as it is a
feature that he would like to use.
