I have no idea why suddenly my ActiveSync displays my contacts section :
"Sync Status is on the device". Then i went to Tools->Options and found out
that Contacts box disappeared!!? and when i right click the main ActiveSync's
Contacts hoping to do a manual "synchronize sections" or "Resolve item".. it
was both dimmed color (cannot click) then i click the settings and it
displays "No seetings are required for Contacts synchronization with a
server. Next time you sync your mobile device, all contacts on your device
and server will be synchorized" !!!!!??? I never have a server and i'm at my
home! why is this happening? now i have at least more than 15 contacts cannot
update to my PC (can't sync contacts only others are fine).

I'm using Acer Aspire M506pTV built-in WindowsXp Home edition and have
updated to SP2 and my device is O2 XDAII plus i have a PIM software called
Agenda Fusions 6.8.6 which i dont' think this causes such problem... but i've
figure out that maybe the Norton Anti-Virus for Mobile Device did it, but
i've unistalled it from my Desktop and PPC but still doesn't work! i've check
through my setting and others.. and i have no idea what's going on! please
help! Any Microsoft Experts here?

Try deleting the partnership (File -> Delete Partnership), re-cradle
the device and create a new partnership. If that fails, run Help ->
Detect and Repair in Outlook then reinstall ActiveSync.

Dear Sir, I've tried all your suggested methods but when i re-installed the
ActiveSync 3.7.1 (newly download) while creating new partnerships and choose
the items for synchronizations... The CONTACTS is still MISSING? I mean
everything was there like, Inbox, task, Avantgo, Calender, Favourites,...etc.
And after done with the partnerships My Inbox (O2XDAII) cannot sync its said
"Attention Required" aand my Contacts is still: "Sync Status is on the
Device" !! Oh man.. now i cannot sync my Inbox and contacts now!! I'e done
everything you've told!! why is that? I kinda regret to upgrade to WindowsXP
SP2 ... i'm not sure does it causes that.. but at the beginning was not like
that... WHY? I thought Microsoft knows it because you guys developed that
software????? if not how come the messages was so bizzar that none of my
pocketpc.com.hk forum doesnt' or never encountered that before??? Please Help
help, there had been more than 25 Contacts i cannot sync and plus this time
the Inbox problem with my SMS.... Oh man.
