HELP. cant print saved doc from disc on other pc's

I have vista home premium on a Iqon note book, when I save a word doc (office
one) onto a disc and try to load it onto another pc the files shows up empty
the same thing happens if I send them as attachments on an email. the docs
show up if put the disc into my note book.
