HELP! Downloads wont install.

I'm trying to update my computer with the Microsoft Windows XP updates. I
downloaded everything but when it tries to install it says failed. There are
a total of 96 updates I need to install and it wont install any one of them!

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you perform a new Windows XP
installation or you repair a Windows XP installation

(Ignore Title if not relevant) Updates are not installed successfully from
Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after
you perform a new Windows XP installation or you repair a Windows XP
installation

Try method 1 first as it is usually sufficient.
