Help! Error number: 0x80248011

Hi I have xp prof, and when i excute windows update on the desktop, it goes
to the mircosoft site and gives me the Error number: 0x80248011, i cant d/l
any updates ...help, thanks in advance

This error can occur due to an issue with the Internet cache or corruption in
the
Data store - see:
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...cleid=21&ln=en

The following is courtesy of Harish.G:-

To fix this error 0x80248011. try the following in the command prompt. The
steps to follow are given below.

Click on Start -> run -> type command "cmd" and command prompt will appear.
After you are in command prompt try the following commands.

1) net stop wuauserv
2) cd /d %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
3) rd /s DataStore
4) net start wuauserv
Try to run windows update

When I try to do this procedure when I carry out step 3 it asks me Are You
Sure (Y/n) and when i tell it yes it tells me it cannot find the file!

I have been trying to resolve this issue for which there appear to be a
number of suggested solutions but none of which work!

I have gone through the INternet Options, Tools etc.... and it doesn work
