Hi,
I live in Hungary, my mother lives in England and my brother and I have just
got her onto the net with a very basic Dell PC; he has done the basic
setup...
I need to help her complete the setup and generally support her, but when
she has "issued" Remote Assistance requests I am not even receiving the
invitation.
At her end she is using Windows Mail - and successfully sends and receives
email. Remote Assistance triggered the setup of Windows Mail so it knows
that is her email client.
At my end, I'm using Outlook 2002 - and have successfully sent and received
email to/from her.
The firewall at my end has Remote Assistance allowed through.
No more informaiton about the config at her end (which is why I want RA!)
except that her system is probably Home Basic (mine is Home Premium).
Anybody got any ideas what's wrong or how to get it going?
