help! help! help! windows update questionfoe some resa

foe some reason i cannot get the updates for windows to work.....when i click
on updates...and it locates all the updates i have not downloaded yet...then
i click for them to be installed...then it starts to...but then my computer
seems to shutdown...but my cumputer stays on...but my moniter turns dark
.....please help if u can,,thank you in advance if u can,,,

Do it again - but uncheck ALL but one update and install it.
Reboot.. Repeat.
