help with INTERNET EXPLORER 8

hello

At least once a day i get internet explorer not responding, the version
i have is 8.0.6001.18702, this is what i got with the laptop as it is
only a few days old, the only thing i have done so far is disabled the
google toolbar, to see if that was the problem, but no luck , as its
just stopped responding now.

Is there anything i can do besides uninstalling it and going to IE 7.
i also have firefox, but i need explorer for some course work.

"Ps" i have also , just set all websites to be viewed in
compatibility view to see if that helps..

Try disabling "SSVHelperClass" Add-on from manage Add-ons.
Tools->Manage Add-ons->Enable or Disable Add-ons
under enabled section you can disable this.
