help lol

ok this is a strange one, i have just rebooted my computer because i bought a
new motherboard, everything was going fine utill i started to update windows.
it said i need to update windows update, which is fair enough i did this then
when it restarted itself there was no writting to read just the basic layout,
there is nothing that i can click, apart from the question mark at the top
right which takes you to the help pages, now i tried to unistall the upstaes
it did do, they unistalled fine i restarted and the problem still persists, i
thought maybe my diplay drivers and re installed them but still this problem
continues, i dont want to have to reboot again i really dont have the time so
if anyone has any ideas they would all be greatly appreciated thanks oh and
ps im using windows vista ultimate 32 bit.

What a chaotic story

My guess is that you best repair your windows installation and if it is not
a reatil version you might not be reactivated again.
