Microsoft makes a backup for the Outlook.pst file that I use all the time.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
It is called PFBACKUP.EXE
Unfortunately I think that unless your contacts are in the deleted folder,
you lost this time. The back up of the pst file is a must. I keep a copy on
a flash drive just in case. In the event the scenerio repeats itself, you
coulod also delete the partnership and then establish the partnership again
and you will then get the choice for outlook to overwrite your phone/pda.
Best wishes
