Help to make Icons Larger

I recently downloaded a new video card to replance my outdated card I
downloaded. 8915G/82910GL to replace Video Card (N)Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL
Express Chipset Family. After the download (all of my ICONS) and my mail
messages were in a smailler font and it is hard to read. My question is:
Should I have downloaded something to go along with the download and if not
how do I correct the size of the font on my computer? I have a Windows XP,
Gateway.
