If you formatted the hard drive and lost the 'recovery partition' then you
need to contact Lenovo to see if they can supply you with a recovery DVD. It
is pointless trying to use a friend's copy of Vista because the OEM product
key number on the back of (or bottom of) your PC is not linked to your
friends copy.
However, I noticed elsewhere that you mention '2 days activation'. If it is
simple case that you can' activate your copy of Vista then use the telephone
