my windows vista is not working!!!!yesterday it was ok but today when i
turned on my computer it was not working and nothing is coming out please
help me!!!!!!it says that invalid product key and BUILD 6000 or something
like that.How am i gonna fix it?i can't even see my desktop. its just black
desktop and nothings coming out please help me.

This is off the subject but is there anything you can do about Clear Windows
and his groupies since you are an MVP? They are making post after post
about Linux in this Vista help Newsgroup, using foul language, harassing
people, and various other things they should not be doing in a newsgroup.
Since this is a Microsoft Communities and Newsgroup can they be stopped?
They seem to be little kids that are using their parents computers just to
irritate people. I have blocked them but they really are causing trouble to
other people as they should be posting in a Linux group. They are spammers,
obviously. Thank you.

Let me explain how newsgroups work.

ANYBODY can post. People can say WHATEVER they want. Nobody and I mean
NOBODY is or ever could be in charge of any non moderated newsgroups.
This is just another of over 100,000+ unmoderated groups like 99.9% of
all the others you can visit. Only twits, freaks, fools and idiots try
to be net cops and police a newsgroup or wish they could.

If you were an adult which it seems unlikely, you would be able to
exercise some self-control and just skip over posts, posters and
topics that so easily bug you. Can you try?

This isn't a Microsoft owned or controlled anything. It is a PUBLIC
newsgroup freely distributed world wide across thousands of news
servers none of which have anything to do with Microsoft and hasn't
been and couldn't be controlled by them even if they wanted to which I
assure you they have no interest in doing.

As far as MVPs they are little more than Microsoft butt kissers and
apologists. Why would anyone stoop that low you might ask? Because
they get all kinds of freebies that's why.

They have no authority at all. Zero, nada, zip, none. Most are no
nothing prima donna types hand picked to praise and worship Microsoft
and make lame excuses for Microsoft's crappy software.

Most MVPs especially the losers that hang out in the newsgroup are
little more than Copy and Paste artists will little knowledge about
anything and only repeat what they've heard or found on some web site.
In fact Microsoft disavows MVP's completely and isn't responsible for
their antics or their often wrong advice either.

Now that you know the truth, don't you feel silly?

Yeah, well....it's a few things. It's a microsoft.public.* newsgroup
that's hosted on Microsoft's server (msnews.microsoft.com), which is
open to anybody. Many Usenet servers slurp the group from Microsoft's
server or from each other, so it gets distributed far and wide.

Microsoft also makes it possible to access their groups from a web
interface (Yuck!) and the "communities", and maybe something else, for
all I know. Each group of users thinks it's their own thing (but we
know it's a newsgroup right?)
