Help: Missing File Sync with Active Sync 4.5 on WinXP

Good Day,

Was able to Do File Sync on my Dopod C730 (Windows Mobile 6 Standard ) out
of the Box.

Few Reinstall of OS on the HDD later, this Feature (File Sync) went Missing.
My Window Mobile 5 device can still do file Sync on the Device.

Measures Taken
1) Had the Dopod C730 ROM reflashed. At the Service Center side the File
Sync Option is there.

2) Explore the Active Syn Options, with no luck.

3) Google around no Luck.

Can you provide a bit more detail on your issue - I'm not sure I completely
understand the issue.

ActiveSync 4.5 is installed I assume. Are you able to get other
synchronization bits to work with your device/AS? Is it only File Sync that
is not working? Is the box to File Sync greyed out or not there at all?

have you deleted your partnership and tried again?

I'm not sure what you mean "at the service center side the File Sync option
is there".... can you explain?

ActiveSync 4.5 installed.

Only File Sync is not available, at all (No Grey out Box) Other items are
functional.

At the Service Center (Not sure of their Active Sync version) The option to
do File Sync is there for the New partnership.

Deleted the Partnership in the past before, and no success.

Have you tried to do a complete uninstall of ActiveSync, reboot, then
reinstall?

I'll have to do some research at this point. I don't know what would be
causing this one....
