My internet connection was fine before the last vista update but since last
night it keeps cutting of if I leave it idle.

I checked and it had reset my settings so that there was set to cut of if
idle for 20 minutes. I have changed all these settings but it just keeps
cutting of.

I don't know what else to try.

Pleaes help.

Thanks

.... I'm sure Frank, the Vista expert around here, who can't imagine anyone
having problems with Vista because it's so perfect, can help you out
immediately. He stalks me, so should arrive here shortly to offer you help.

Cheers.

Uninstall the update that caused the problem.

Change your Automatic updates to notify you when updates are ready to be
downloaded, and untick that one during updates; or right-click it, and select
hide it!

Control Panel>>System and Maintenance>>Device Manager>>Network
Monitors>>Highlight your IC>>Left Click>>Properties>>Power management>>Allow
the computer to turn off this device to save power should be UNCHECKED.

What's your idiotic business to be here and sh*it when busy people are
trying to resolve their problems? Do you have any shame at all?

My answer is as helpful as the ones I've seen you leave around here.
Actually MORE helpful, because I don't lead people down some idiotic path
of a "solution" like you do with everyone of your posts, wasting their time
thinking that you could actually help them.

Cheers.

You're a delusional moron idiot.
You have absolutely no intentions of helping anyone using anything from MS.
You are one of the most hate filled lying linux loser trolls and you're
here only to cause trouble.
You are one mentally sick POS!
Frank

Start another thread and be more specific as to what your problem is. Do not
do this...

Nice to see that Frank, the Vista expert, has been so helpful to the OP. Way
to go Frank. We're all depending on you here. Keep up the good work. Just
keep butt sniffing me Frankie Boy. I'll lead you along to other Vista users
that can really use your expertise.

Cheers.
