help......need a fix for installing some updates

I'm having trouble installing the following updates and get errors.
Update for Windows XP HighMAT Support in CD Writing Wizard (KB831240)
Cumulative Update for Outlook Express for Windows XP (KB887797
I have XP home... anyone know how to fix it?

Hi Kirs

what errors are you getting?

manually download the updates,

copy and paste the download ID's (KB887797) without the brackets in the
Search Microsoft.com for: search box.

install, reboot & check for updates again.
