Hey:

I don't know the proper place to ask these questions, hope you don't mind.
My computer came with a 60 day trial of Office 2007 and it expires soon. If
I decide to purchase the license on line, how is the data handled. What I
mean is, am I able to download and save a copy of the suite? Do they simply
update my existing installation or maybe just send me a new license key? I
want to be able to install Office if I need to re-install my programs. I
have burned a couple of DVDs that contain all my factory installed software
so the initial program data for Office 2007 is saved. I'm wondering if that,
plus a new license, will give the ability to re-install if necessary.

Thank you,
Ed

Follow the guidelines publish here for an easy transition:

You would be FAR better off buying a copy from Amazon or NewEgg or some such
discount retailer - better price AND you get media with it (CD, DVD etc).
