Help Please- Microsoft Word

Can anyone help me please as I have deleted by accident my file & edit
command with my drop down menu,so now I cannot file, print, then print set
up any more, and if i click on the printer diagram my whole report keeps
printing out as opposed to the one page that i may have amended.
I've tried unstalling and re-installing, when i re-opened word the programme
was exactly the same, no file and no edit command - can anyone help me please
- this report has to go out by this week otherwise i am dead!.
I'm using Word 2000

View>Toolbars and check that you have enabled the Standard and Formatting

Thank you kevin, I've uniticked and ticked and it still has not come back
