Help with stopped clock?

[Vista HP] The digital clock display in the taskbar has stopped... but if I
click on it, the analogue clock (and the gadget clocks and the separate LED
display on the laptop) all continue to show the correct time... I have
re-synched to time.windows.com but that didn't help...

Don't remember doing anything special at the time the clock stopped
(11:59)... Any idea what's stopped and how to re-start it?

TIA

Right click on the taskbar clock and check if the taskbar is locked?

Then select Properties and make sure the clock is checked as always show.

You, non inflammable, revealed unintentionally a lot about yourselves in
your posts. Some of them are fairly incoherent like you are talking to an
imaginary friend of equal schizophrenic bend. One also can guess your 2.4
GPA and quite a few job failures in your resume.

Also you must be at least 45 or better. Vista is for young folks, no wonder
old farts have monumental trouble with it.

I hope you realize that many of the people who regularly assist here are
well over 45!

So what? It means they began with Vista before they crossed the threshold
but aged quickly

Alex, I am the most free thinker and flexible person you would ever
encounter in this newsgroup..
Don't confuse me making fun of crapista (vista) as something else. Yes I may
seem complex, but I am really not.

I am brave enough to not follow the sheeple and become just another
vistadrone, as many here do. They go for what is new
without thinking if the new is better. I love new things.. I am a guy who if
a program goes from version 4.5.1 to 4.5.2 I get the update!

But I am not dumb.. if I see something new that is crappier than the old.. I
make the choice to not use it.
Further more I do warn people if something is of low quality ... and in this
case vista is not even passed beta in quality.

I do know someone who is over 45 yet has the brain of a 5 year old.. and
guess what?
He is one of the most fanatic vista supporters (no surprise at all).. stick
around he will come to this thread.. his name is FRANK.. lol

You can't educate a flamer, or get the last word, either.

but good luck, anyway! (and thanks, for helping)
