Thanks to both of you. F1 goes to the same web page that was linked to. That
page has a few answers, but it looks like the real help section is in a
forum. I was hoping for a self-contained help section like was in Outlook
Express. Oh well, probably cost cutting, something akin to eliminating paper
owner manuals and putting them on CDs.
I was not looking for anything in particular when I posted; just wanted to
know if a help section existed.
What is the feeling among people who answer questions as to whether a
question should be asked here or on the forum?
Also, Winston, about that prompt to upgrade to 2012, are you implying
anything as to whether to do the upgrade or not?

I am brand new to Windows 7 and WLM (version 2011), having previously used
XP and Outlook Express.
Does WLM have a help section? I've looked around at the various toolbars and
can't see anything.

Help is online.

Looking for anything in particular ?
If you are using any Windows Live Essentials 2011 program you will at some
point in time in the foreseeable future see a prompt to
upgrade to 2012 (the program has a hard-coded phone-home version checker and
a program updater that operates independent of
Windows/Microsoft update)
