I would 'refresh' the driver. Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC ,
highlight the Ethernet device, Action menu, "Uninstall", (do Not put a check
in 'delete driver") then Action menu, "scan for hardware changes", to find
the device drivers again automatically.
