Help with Ubuntu

I have noticed that not many people are helping me here. I did post that I
had trouble with Ubuntu and it kept freezing. The cube spins OK then the
computer freezes. I wish there was a group of Ubuntu users around that I
could ask questions of. So far, I only found the vista forum.
